The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions to your community.

SASSA is going to be rendering providers including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency stated it is alarmed about the significant quantity of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The aim with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to status sassa reach-out to some significant quantity of clients/beneficiaries sassa status to access SASSA services.

“This is often as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office focused on service the area daily. The service stage developed for intervention encounters a substantial inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, that makes it complicated for the Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra means to help the servicing of all customers and maximize usage of Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
